Project is worth 100 points - please look at the grading criteria carfully

choose a president who is no longer living
use MYFAKEWALL to create a "myspace" type presence and basic biography for that president.
A paper outline form is available to help you outline your subject but it is not necessary for you to use it and it is not part of the graded criteria.

both have excellent outlines of the presidents

Standard - this minimum is eligible for 75 of the 100 points

  1. you must have 6 profile images
  2. you must create a minimum of 6 "friends" (these may be either within or outside the administration)
  3. you must have a minimum of 15 wall "status updates" or postings
  4. Each posting must have at least one response from a "friend"
This means that there would be a minimum of 30 postings on a wall assignment - any fewer and the assignment will be considered incomplete and scored as a zero until such time as corrections are made
  5. please look at this example for "C-" work does not have 15 entries - c- example
  6. the is an "A-" example (missing profile pictures A- Example

  • For additional points you will need additional original postings and responses from "friends" (ie for a B you will need 20 and for an A you will need 25 WITH comments! (see above)
  • (please note that 100% of the content is generated by you, the author. You do not need to request any other student add you or your subject as friend)
  • please pay particular attention to historical accuracy (criteria 5)
  • pay attention to dates and a sequenced chronology
  • IMPORTANT you may need to outline your page - if you create an entry with a date of 1943 and then follow that with an entry dated 1942 the page will NOT automatically reorganize the entries to make them linear and correct

using the image post and having accurate images for your post will also improve your score
Please email or speak with Mr. Lewis if you have additional questions

(0 – very poor, 1 = poor; 2 = adequate; 3 = good; 4 = excellent)
